Rumor go a long way on the Internet since the sharing has become really simple. A single click at the content goes viral in no-time. Google Drive could be one of such unexpected victim, though we can never imagine how Google would like to market their products!
According to Reuters, Google is preparing to launch their online cloud storage service to take on growing market. Dropbox and Box – totally changed the way people would collaborate for businesses. And, now Google does not way to be left behind.Google Drive is expected to launch today (Tuesday, April 24) and the service will be available for both, Free and Paid users. The service most likely is an upgrade in itself to a Google Docsservice.
Free subscription will offer 5GB of cloud storage for free and paid subscriptions will have various packages up to 100GB of storage at a competitive rates. Consumers will be able to upload various file formats & sync with any device on-the-go.Google Music and then Google Play/strong> were the first two major services through which the company is focusing on bringing the integrated storage facilities to the users and Google Drive would further gel things together for holding-on to the users.

Google Drive is now officially launched as described above. The pricing plans are simple and seems competitive. I am sure Dropbox is having a real bad day today! However, if you are already using a $5 /year plan to increase Gmail drive like me – then, this planwill not be available anymore. Instead, we will have to adopt the new pricing plans.
Google Drive pricing is: Free =5GB,  $2.50/month = 25GB and $4.99/month = 100GB. It doesn’t end here. Google Drive also offers on-demand plans for up tp 16TB! Yes, you read it right
